We totally lucked out and got a beautiful day in December and got to go check out Christmas Traditions on Main Street. It's the cutest little festival with all sorts of different Holiday Characters walking around giving trading cards that the kids can collect, there are carolers, a parade and of course Grandma's Cookies. Because did you really go to Main Street if you didn't get a Grandma's Cookie? The answer is no, no you did not. Anyway, we had a lovely little day and came home in the Christmas Spirit. So I think we are OFFICIALLY ready for Christmas!!

Here Comes Santa Claus
Well, we went and saw the big man. I'm not sure what I was expecting really. But I THINK I was expecting a screaming little baby...and I did not get one. I also think I was a little disappointed I didn't get one!! Is that wrong? I just love a good screaming baby Santa picture, and I'll never get one again will I? I will say, Little Miss was VERY excited to see Santa from afar. Wanted to point to him and say "ho ho" a lot but she was all show. Once it was go time, she was a lot more unsure of her braveness. She didn't cry, but she also didn't smile! We will say she was stoic, that sounds sophisticated right? Her brothers were champs, telling the big man everything they wanted and then threw in a few things for the little sister as well. We will see who made the nice list I guess!!

Gingerbread House Making
One of my favorite Christmas activities...gingerbread house decorating. I'm waiting for the day the boys tell me they are not going to humor me anymore but I'm happy to report this was not the year! I think we are getting better too! I only get one PRE-MADE house because I'm well aware the attention span for this activity is not all that long but I do always love the result and I do leave it out for the entire Christmas season to admire over and over. This year little Miss was a little more involved, and by that I mean she actually sat at the table and ate icing and candy. She MIGHT have added a piece or two, but I really think that's a stretch. Her brothers enjoyed her company though and they also enjoyed "sneaking" her the goods.

Kiss Face
Translation: you can have ANYTHING you want. I mean, does it get any cuter than this? This is the face she makes when you ask her for a kiss. Ugh, she's the cutest.
Snow Day
We got a little bit of an early snow this year, so we of course took our opportunity to get all bundled up and enjoy! I'm always good for one solid snow day, and then I'm ready for summer! But this was the first snow for Little Miss so I was excited to see what she thought of it. Turns out...she loves it. She loves to sit in it, play with it, eat it and sled on it. She didn't mind getting cold or even when the snow went down her sleeves. The only thing she didn't like was when we got tot he bottom of the hill, she would scream until we got back up the hill to go again! Big brothers were busy "snowboarding" and by that I mean standing on any sort of mechanism that would get them down the hill. I will say, they were pretty successful though! Snow Day was a hit for everyone, even Mom.
