Trunk or Treat

One of my favorite events at school is Trunk or Treat, actually it might be my favorite.  The kids get to hang out with their friends and run around and be silly and we get to mingle with the parents.  We haven't really embraced the whole "decorating your trunk" thing, besides throwing up a spider web or hanging some bats from the trunk but I think that's why I love this event so much.  It's stress free!  I'm sure one day if I have a great idea I will embrace the competitive side that I hide (or try to) deep in my soul and go all out but for now I really like being lazy.  So here are my kids in their store bought costumes, with their undecorated trunk and their happy Mom.  Happy Halloween!
