Easter

In an earlier post I eluded to the fact that our Easter was a little bit "different" this year.  Well, it was in fact different.  This year we were headed to Colorado for Spring Break and that meant...flying on Easter!  You know I was a little reluctant to fly on Easter, just because I love EVERYTHING about Easter but sacrifices had to be made!  So we woke up early on Easter morning and let the boys check out their baskets from the Easter bunny and it turns out the Easter bunny is very observant and he noticed that we were packed for vacation so he left a note that he would leave their eggs in Colorado.  Phew...one last thing to do that morning!  So we checked out the baskets and then headed out the door.  When we got to Breckenridge we did in fact find eggs left from the bunny so all was well with the world.

Now, fast forward to a week later when we returned from our trip to Colorado.  It was finally time to let Little Miss see what the bunny left her.  We didn't have time to mess with it the morning of Easter and wanted to really soak up her first Easter anyway, so she got a private viewing party.  It's tough being the princess.

Good Friday Celebration

We've come to my favorite time of year again...EASTER!!!  And this Easter was a lot different than years past (you'll see why soon), with the exception of this celebration.  The kids and I got together with some of my friends from work and their kids.  We've done this for a few years now and it's always so much fun.  We dyed some Easter eggs, had a little egg hunt and of course ordered pizza.  I mean what's an Easter celebration without pizza, am I right?  I'm molding these children to share the same love and appreciation of the best holiday there is, and you know what...I think I'm killin' it.

New Discovery

It's pretty exciting around here these days, we keep finding new things.  On this particular day we found our feet or more specifically...our toes.  And not only did we find them...we ate them as well.  It might be a little gross, but it's a lot cute so I'm going to let it slide.  It's not like she's going to go away to college still eating her toes...right?

Playtime

I know this blog is overloaded with Everly pictures right now, but here's a secret...it's not ending anytime soon.  This is for many reasons: 1. She is a willing subject 2. I'm with her A LOT 3. I swear I took just as many pictures of the boys at this age and I vowed to do the same for her 4. She's so damn cute.  So today we get some more everyday pictures of little Miss enjoying some toys.  She has become a big fan of her exersaucer these days and she is still enjoying her tummy time swatting at some toys.  We getting all big up in here!

The First Cereal

The day had come, it was time for another milestone...eating!  It seems Everly had the same thought about cereal that her brothers did.  She pondered it for a while, let it slide out of her mouth a little (or a lot) and then finally decided it was okay.  To be honest the thing that she wanted the most was the spoon!  You can see by those cheeks she doesn't really miss a meal, but it was high time we started adding something besides formula to the diet!  Next stop...sweet potatoes!
