Because of COVID we didn't really get to have a proper Easter. Meaning, we didn't see any of our family. Heavens knows that wasn't going to sit well with my Mom so she planned a make-up Easter for the Kiddos the night before school started. Sure, her neighbors might have thought we were a WEE bit crazy outside hunting eggs in August but you know what? The kids thought it was amazing and they might even remember this Easter more than any other. They got to do the water slide, we had a nice littler Easter dinner and then they hunted eggs. Does it get much better? Nope, didn't think so. Now, off to bed for them before their big day(s)!
