It's been a rough week at our house. I wouldn't really know because I've been on work travel, but from what I can gather from Chad...it wasn't fun! (is that timing on my part or what?) It seems the boys picked up some sort of virus while we were at the lake last weekend (them and 5 other kids that were with us) and we have had many days of not fun stuff going on! Nolan didn't get it nearly as bad as Bennett did, that poor kid has had it rough. Rough enough to take his first trip to the hospital in order to get some fluids pumped into him on Sunday night. Anyway, amongst all the chaos one funny thing did transpire. Here is a conversation Bennett and Chad had after Bennett went potty...
Bennett: That was A LOT of poop Dad.
Chad: It sure was buddy, does your tummy feel better now?
Bennett: Yea it does. Do you think the bug flew out?
Apparently we kept telling everyone that Bennett "had a little bug" and he overheard us and was very concerned about said bug being in his body. I love how literal kids are sometimes. Chad assured him the bug was gone, although that was a big fat lie because Bennett spent another few days on the couch after that incident! Things are looking up now though, no more bugs allowed in this house!
