Bennett's 2nd 4th Birthday Celebration

Bennett's actual birthday landed on a Sunday this year so we had the opportunity to spend the entire day celebrating this spunky little boy.  We decided we would head to the zoo for a little fun and then of course we ended up at Grandma's pool later in the afternoon.  Nothing but the best for the prince.    We hadn't been to the zoo in quite some time so there were some new things to see and explore.  There were two big highlights of the day according to the boys: 1. Feeding the Stingrays 2. The new Polar Bear exhibit.  I personally still really enjoy the penguins, perhaps just fore the mere fact that their habitat is cool and it was HOT outside.  Yes, i'm using the penguins...get over it.  We were even the cool parents on this particular day and let the boys go in the splash pad.  I'm sure you all know how hard that was for me, but I can't even say no when it's a birthday!  Anyway, it was a great day and I think the Birthday Boy (and his big brother) were both happy so we shall mark this adventure down as a success.  And just FYI,  his birthday celebrations are still not complete! This kid really knows how to milk a birthday (NO idea where he gets that from).
