A Year in Review

WOW...when I look at our year in pictures I can't help but think how lucky we are. We had a great year full of fun vacations, tons of sports, outings with friends and watching the kids grow another year older.  In between all the "big" events we had a ton of "little" events too.  Like fishing, friends hanging out in costumes, decorating cupcakes, swimming, going to the park...I could go on and on.  I've begun to realize those little things really become the big things that are worth remembering.  Throw in a Blues Stanley Cup win and it seems like a pretty complete year!  2019 will be hard to beat!

New Years Eve

Another year, another celebration.  But this year we decided to act like we were back in college and we totally broke out the "Flip Cup" table and went to town.  Turns out...I've still got it 😊!  Turns out the girls in general still had it, while the boys kind of struggled.  I suppose they just need more practice...there's always next year!  Anyway, we made it all the way to midnight and toasted to the New Year having no idea what this year would actually have in store for all of us!  Perhaps we should have been more specific with our New Years Resolutions/Requests.

Christmas Continues...

This year we decided to go visit my brother and his family the weekend after Christmas so we could  have an extra long holiday season!  We even went to Silver Dollar City and pretended like it was still Christmas!  I wasn't going to miss out on that opportunity, and they were still doing all the Christmas things so why not?  Right?  Right.  You'll note that most of the pictures are of Everly and I because the boys are getting bigger and want to do the big kid rides while Everly is just starting to dip her toes in the sand of the little kid rides.  So there was a lot of dividing and conquering but I assure you the big kids were just as happy with their ride choices as well.  I would like to give a special shout out to my Mom on this post because she took a bunch of the pictures of Ev and I, so it looks like I was actually on this vacation!  Thanks Mom!
